WHY WE BELIEVE?

Everyone around the globe (unless you're a flat earther) has heard someone talk about one or more conspiracy theories in their lifetime. No matter how true or untrue, realistic or unrealistic the story may be, many question the true answer. It is our natural instinct to know every unsettling question we may have. Therefore researchers have grouped the answer as to why many DO believe in some "fantasy" and unproportional theories.

  • The inner desire for understanding and certainty

  • The desire for control and security

  • The desire to maintain a positive self-image

Truth is by human nature we are all sought out to understand the meaning of all underlining possible questions that are unsure. It is our motive that keeps us going and alive according to evolutionists.

Most people (including myself) want to have a tight grip on life, even if it means to control other people, circumstances, and things. Others may call them a control freak, but as stated before, just as others want a certainty with their unsettled disbelief, others have the need of empowerment that is instilled in human nature. Sometimes that drive is needed to receive self-understanding of things around them.

A feel-

ing of

impo-

rtance and acceptance is widely cared about to all people. If putting your faith in anything, for example, a religion, makes one feel accepted, of value, and loved than most will follow through witht that religion. The same can go with putting your faith in conspiracy theories. It puts you in a group that is valued by others, therefore making that person part of the pack. It all ties together, certantity, security, and positive self-image is all human instinct meant to keep us alive and happy.
