There is Albedo and Albedo modifications. Albedo is the proportion of incoming radiation (solar energy) this is reflected by a surface. Surface without snow or ice absorbs more heat and surface with snow or ice reflects more heat. This is important in terms of climate change because ice has a high albedo, and so reflects most solar radiation back into the atmosphere, meaning the ice remains cold. However, due to increased sea surface temperatures, sea ice in areas such as the Arctic is melting. 

   The problem with global warming is increasing, as many scientists say, and that is when the conspiracy theory with "Albedo modification" comes into play. Albedo modification means- Injecting reflective particles into the stratosphere and alleged methods of producing chemtrails. Albedo modifications suggest people add materials to the earth's atmosphere to reflect a bit more sunlight back to space, reducing global warming. Do you see the link?
